At the time of writing I am just over half way through Titanicus by Dan Abnett. I am enjoying the book; it’s well written, it makes sense, the characters are believable and the action is intense and well described. It’s my first book by Dan and I expected nothing less. I’m really looking forward to reading more of his stuff [...]
I’ve a friend starting to play 40K, it’s his first game in a couple of games. He’s going to need a lot of teaching, of course, and these games will ultimately lead to him hopefully buying some miniatures. I have now finished my second 40K book, Fifteen Hours. I enjoyed the book but it wasn’t what I was expecting. The aspects of the Imperial Guard it did cover it did very well. But I felt like it was lacking in some areas, so here is my brain dump on the matter. You can pick it up from Amazon, used, very cheaply. Mine was 1p! I don’t [...]
