In case you missed it I’ve managed to do a lot of airbrushing recently – I say recently, I mean over the last 6 months. Which is good for me! It’s been all camo stripes so far on a variety of vehicles; Taurox, Malcador, Leman Russ, Valkyrie, Vulture, etc. Time for something new; Airbrushing Cadian Shock Troops.
I managed to get a couple of quick sessions in with my airbrush recently to try and make some progress with my Warhammer Imperial Guard forces – and I never want to see Castellen Green again. I got a layer of the green down onto my Malcador Defender, Valkyrie, Vulture and magnetised Taurox (Prime). That’s a lot of green.
I got in a big airbrush session recently. A fair few hours plus time to base coat black a hell of a lot of models. I used a whole rattle can in one sitting for the black base coating!
I got a little airbrush priming done this weekend on my two Wyverns. I am happy with this initial priming with black, then Castellan Green and finally Zandri Dust. The Wyvern is a staple of mine, a must take so getting some paint on them feels pretty good! They join the columns of other half done vehicles.
Its Cadian Camo time again! I got some hobby time in! Praise The God Emperor. The first time in months that I have put brush to paint. I took to my airbrush to get some more base layers down for my Cadian Camo scheme on 2 Leman Russ and 2 Sentinels.
Firstly big shout out and thank you to ResinJunkie for his help in sourcing an airbrush, persuading me it was a good idea, educating me on using it and helping me clean it. But even with the best teacher I still managed to break it during my first session. More on that later.
