Cadian Camo

This article I wrote back in December 2021 has all the details on my Cadian Camo. In short, it goes like this;

1. Spray Zandri Dust
2. Apply masking tape
3. Spray Colour FOrge Governer Green
4. Tidy with a brush
5. Agrax Earthshade wash
6. Drybrush Terminus Stone all over
7. Metal details, then Nuln Oil wash
8. Other details
9. Pigments

Leman Russ Turrets and Barrels

The Forgeworld turrets I have had for a while; are from eBay. I got a load all from someone leaving the hobby. I was very lucky.

The barrels are the Tyrant Cannon from Beyond the Tabletop.

The Vanquisher

The three chassis were second-hand, bought from a friend who had them with three Vanguister Turrets. I kept those and painted them up for someday – maybe.

I think I will struggle to field a Vanquisher, let alone three. They are better now in the new Codex, but that one shot is off-putting. They are BS4 with that new +1 to Hit for the turret, but still, there is that chance of failing, and they will do absolutely nothing.

So I did those three Battle Cannons using the Tyrant Cannon above. Now I have three new Leman Russ with six new turrets and plenty of options for the future.

Chimera Searchlights

I used this tutorial from Blood Moon Painting on Instagram. Using these paints;

• A mix of black and Evil Sunz Scarlet
• Then just Evil Sunz Scarlet
• Then Troll Slayer Orange
• and then White
• Finally, a layer of ‘Ard Coat for extra shine
