How to Paint Necromunda Zone Mortalis Floor Tiles

Sprays

1. Prime in a sprayed grey
2. Use a lighter grey on the central cross of the tile and on the edges
3. Then spray black on the vents
4. Leadbelcher on the grates and vents

That gives some undertones, black on and around the vents, overall grey with lighter grey through the middle and edges.

Hazards

1. Mask off and spray yellow
2. Mask hazards and spray or sponge dab on black
3. Remove mask and tidy
4. Apply a brown wash to give an off yellow colour

Washes & Rust

1. Apply brown (Agrax Earthshade), and black (Nuln Oil) washes all over, sponge around the excess
2. Darkoath Flesh Contrast is good for this too
3. Rusts were done with Medium and Bright liquid pigments from Green Stuff World – then spread around using a large sponge
4. Dry brybrush the whole thing in Leadbelcher
5. Light dry brush with Stormhost Silver
