Guardsmen Form Up!

I’ve been getting back into the swing of things recently and completed 31 Guardsmen! These guys have been on the production line for some time now so it feels great to finally complete them, put them in a case and leave them be.

I’ve moved onto a Chimera now which I started with my Airbrush last year. I’ve now tidied up the camo with a brush, shaded the groves and dry brushed the sandy colour.

I have a selection of other models with Airbrushed camo stripes so these are ready to go onto the painting table next. In total its another Chimera, 2 Leman Russ, 2 Wyverns and 2 Sentinels.

I also made myself a Hobby Tray using a Charlie Victor Paint Rack which has really improved my painting frequency. It’s now much easy to get started and
then put everything away.

So I’m really enjoying my current streak of games and painting. I keep telling myself that when I have a force fully painted, say 1,000 points I’ll build my Baneblade! Although at the moment I just want more Leman Russ so I can field the Emperor’s Fist formation.

Finally did some of my first details on a Chimera last night too! Seems like slow progress with this fella, so many details to do! But I am enjoying doing my first vehicle!
